About tao-essence

I have been practicing acupuncture since 2015, working within the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine to support the body as a whole—physically, emotionally, and energetically.

My work is rooted in a simple but profound understanding: the body has an innate capacity to heal when it feels safe, supported, and in balance.
My path to acupuncture began long before my formal training. As a child, I was drawn to medicine, but life led me in a different direction. It was through my own health journey that I eventually found my way back to healing.

For many years, I experienced imbalances in my body that were difficult to understand through a conventional lens. Through acupuncture and personal experience, I began to recognize how deeply physical health is connected to emotional state and the nervous system.
This understanding became central to my work. While acupuncture can address physical symptoms, I have found that lasting change often occurs when the body is supported at a deeper level—where stress, emotional patterns, and the body's sense of safety begin to shift.

After completing my training at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, I gained clinical experience through private practice and work at established clinics, including Herb + Ōhm Luxury Acupuncture Clinic and Dr. Li Xin Sha's clinic.

Today, my approach integrates clinical knowledge with a strong focus on nervous system regulation and the body’s internal environment. Each treatment is designed not only to relieve symptoms, but to support the underlying patterns that may be contributing to them.

At Tao-Essence, treatments are offered in a calm, private setting at Belterra in Dripping Springs. My intention is to create a space where the body can settle, regulate, and return to its natural state of balance.

Healing is not forced. It is supported.
